Introducing SUPERSTRINGS, a dynamic ensemble of emerging artists reshaping the trance scene with a profound nod to the golden era of the 90s and 2000s. Kicking off their careers in leftfield house and techno – and having been DJs for over a decade – the five friends recently reignited their mutual love of early-day trance in their hometown of Nijmegen.
They embrace the emotional anthems and turn-of-the-millennium parties with a slightly ironic take, donning all-white outfits, their ‘SHOW YOUR EMOTIONS’ tag, emphatic all-caps captions, and a neon green dolphin as their mascot. Although their approach may seem
light-hearted, their DJ sets are anything but, showcasing profound depth and skill. In fact, they garnered widespread attention by masterfully reviving trance’s spirit, intertwining iconic classics and hidden gems from the golden era with a contemporary take, and putting their serious skills and deep respect for the genre on display.

Beyond their magnetic sets, SUPERSTRINGS gained notoriety for infamous big-stage parties and hostings, selling out in the blink of an eye across the country and showing the world how to assemble a new generation of trance fans at these massive, laser-fueled outbreaks of euphoria.
2023 marked the start of their emotional trance odyssey, leading them past notable festivals and venues such as Intercell, Zeezout, Paradiso, TivoliVredenburg, OHM, By The Creek and A State of Trance. Their ascent in the trance world was cemented by collaborating with one of the genre’s founding fathers, Armin van Buuren, who invited them to introduce their sound to the A State Of Trance label through a remix of Prototype’s anthem ‘Soundpiercing‘. This debut remix was a heartfelt homage to the emotional resonance of the heydays, with more music to be expected soon.
