DJ Frank doesn’t do boxes.
While she has carried this philosophy throughout her entire life, weaving it into her art is what is now making her one of the most exciting faces in the electronic music landscape.
With a sound as deep as it is driving and as carefully curated as it is playful, she is proving that it is no mere contrast collecting that makes her sets so infinitely enjoyable. It is a deep love for music, regularly blending her unique style of full-bodied, percussive house with frizzling, jagged acid records and smoldering broken beats.
All this is to say DJ Frank knows how to continuously keep a crowd guessing, without ever alienating them. This has opened many a door for her, but namely to one of Germany’s most influential clubs, Gewölbe, where she has become a resident DJ, and to Language of Love, the traveling queer party, of which she is one of the four core members.
Refining her craft in such a meticulous way over time has also put her in touch with her vision for nightlife: a barrier-free celebration of talent and creativity, which she furthers as a co-founder of the collective Prude, supplying and curating events & workshops to make space for upcoming talent.
